Sapphire

Sapphire is the non-red variety of the mineral Corundum (Ruby is the red variety). Although blue is considered the normal color for sapphires, they can be found in a full range of colors. Beads other than blue in color are considered fancy color sapphires. Sapphire beads add a rich element to necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.
