  • HOW TO USE WIRE PROTECTORS
    1) Thread a crimp bead onto your beading wire, followed by a Wire Protector. You'll need to guide the wire through on end hole, around the back (making sure it lays in the channel), and then back out through the other end-hole of the Wire Protector.
    2) Next, hook the threaded Wire Protector onto a finding as you would with an open jump ring.
    3) Slightly pinch the Wire Protector so that the two end-holes touch, then pull the end of the wire and insert it back through the crimp bead. Now you can crimp the bead, snip the excess wire and begin beading.

Secure finish

I use these on everything made with beading wire. Most clasps will simply cause wire to crease and abrade as an item is worn. These prevent creasing and kinking, and a metal clasp (or a jump ring) is rubbing against metal, not against the wire holding the beads. They allow more free movement of clasp pieces when worn, and they lend a beautiful, professional finish to a simple piece of wire.

Work Great

I used these making a bracelet just because the video tutorial suggested using them. I love them. They are a really great addition to bracelets, necklaces, etc. when you want the connection to the clasp to not only look good but also be very safe.

Fabulous!

I followed the tutorial on YouTube. I had made 3 waterfall beaded necklaces and I was not so confident that the way I was attaching the clasps was the best way. I bought these thread protectors - not only does it help the appearance of my finished necklace, but it also was a bit of a time saver. Love these and they are FABuuuuuuuuuuuuuLOUS! Really!

a professional touch

Although it takes a little bit longer to finish my bracelets, the use of thread protectors makes my finished product look more complete and expensive. It is worth the time it takes to use these little protectors to add a quality touch.
