Although all pewter contains trace amounts of lead, the term "lead free pewter" is used to describe pewter that meets the stringent CSPC standard of less than .05% (or 500 parts per million) lead content in pewter.piece is plated with copper with a lightly antiqued finish. Open gently to insert pins into the hole in your pendant, then gently close.
- Prongs are .9mm, hole of pendant must be at least 1.5mm in diameter. Will work for pendants with hole drilled up to 8.5mm from top. Made for pendants that are drilled front to back. Will work best for pendants no thicker than 5mm, and for hanging on chains or strands no more than 3.5mm thick.
- You can easily reinforce the pendant with a touch of glue on the prongs. We recommend E-6000 for this purpose.
