- Similar to variegated Carnelian beads, no two beads are alike.
- Pressed glass beads are molded in small batches. By virtue of this process, the beads are all slightly different from each other; this adds to their charm.
- Unlike Austrian faceted crystals, Czech glass beads contain no lead.
