CITRINE:
Citrine is the name given to yellow Quartz. It can range in color from a pale golden yellow to a deep amber, to brown. Much of the Citrine on the market today is heat-treated Amethyst (which is Quartz with a purple tone). Because of its sunny yellow color and clarity, Citrine is the stone associated with Virgo.
