Retired - Acorn Ring

1. Take one acorn charm and cut off the loop at the top with flush cutters. File away any rough edges with the Vintaj metal file.
2. Next, watch our video on how to use Vintaj patinas. Use a dry paint brush to paint bronze patina onto the acorn. Wait a few minutes for it to dry.
3. Take your Vintaj relief block and lightly buff the raised areas of the acorn to remove some of the patina, giving it a weathered look.
4. Place a dab of Crafter's Pick glue onto one white nugget pearl and glue it into the bezel of the ring at the bottom right corner, as shown in the photo. Repeat this step with one gray potato pearl, gluing it above the white pearl. Then glue in the acorn to the left of the pearls. Wait a few hours until the glue dries clear before moving onto the next step.
5. Watch our video on how to use Ice Resin. Put on your disposable gloves and face mask. Based on the instructions in the video, measure your resin and stir with a popsicle stick until all striations are gone. Then it is fully mixed, use the stick to drip the resin into the bezel a few drops at a time, until the resin is level with the top of the bezel. Remove any air bubbles with a heat source such as a small torch.
6. Allow the resin to cure in a dust-free area for three days. Enjoy your ring!
