Inspired by Medieval sigils, I used flat odd-count peyote beadweaving to form the patch-like focal piece of this necklace.

To make the peyote crest, please follow the pattern attached to this project using the techniques you learned in the videos above.
Using the Vintaj block, rub the Lion and Snake pendant until the you get the desired shine.
To adhere the pendant to the peyote crest, use a good amount of E6000 on the back of the pendant. Flip over and place in the center of the crest. Since you will be using a good amount of glue, you may want to let the glue dry overnight.
Cut 24 inches of thread and place a needle onto one end. Do not tie a knot at the end.
To form the gold circle of delicas around the crest string 58 gold beads (do not let them slip off the thread) and form a loop by going back around through the strand of 58 delicas a second time. Once you have made a full loop around, tie your two thread ends together in a secure knot. Cut off the extra thread.
Use a scrap of wire or toothpick to put a thin line of E6000 around the outer rim of the lion and snake pendant. Carefully place the circle of gold delicas around the pendant. Press and hold in place. Let dry.
Cut your two feet of chain into two 12 inch lengths.
Open a gold jump ring and hook it through the gold delica on the outer point of the crest on the right hand side. Before closing the jump ring, attach a 12 inch length of chain. Repeat this step on the other side of your crest.
At the ends of the chain, open one link of the chain, the same as you would a jump ring and attach the clasp to the chain. Close the chain link.
