Retired - Ultra Violet Butterfly Necklace

1. Begin by adding a dab of glue to the glue on bail and attaching it to the top center of the cabochon. Set aside and allow to dry fully.
2. Next you will cut the lengths of chain. Cut two lengths of sterling silver rolo chain, 5 inches each. Also cut a length 2 inches. Set aside.
3. Cut the gemstone chain: two lengths of 9 beads; two lengths of 10 beads.
4. Open one jump ring and attach it to one 5 inch length of rolo chain as well as to one lobster clasp. Close the jump ring.
5. Move to the other side of this chain and attach another jump ring to the last link as well as to the end of one length of a 9 bead gemstone chain. Close the jump ring.
6. Move to other side of this gemstone chain and use another jump ring to attach it to the length of 2 inch rolo chain. Close the jump ring.
7. Next slide on the bail of the cabochon onto this chain. Move to the other side of this chain and attach another length of 9 bead gemstone chain using a jump ring. Close the jump ring.
8. Move to the other side of this length of 9 bead gemstone chain and use a jump ring to attach the final length of rolo chain. Close the jump ring. On the other end of this chain attach one more jump ring.
9. Finally you will attach the "swags" of gemstone chain. To do this, open one jump ring and attach one end of the 10 bead chain to the bottom loop of the first link of the 9 bead chain. Close the jump ring.
10. Then move to the end of this length and open the jump ring attaching the 9 bead chain to the rolo chain and add on the final link of the 10 bead chain. Re-close the jump ring. Repeat this on the other side and you're all done.
