Tips for picture-perfect TierraCast Frames using paper and Dimensional Art Glazes:
- If applying a glaze, use images printed with non water-soluble inks (images printed with regular ink-jet ink will bleed). Use JudiKins Diamond Glaze dimensional adhesive or JudiKins DG3 glaze.
- Place cropped images or small items in frame with small amount of adhesive and allow to dry. You can use a little glaze as the initial adhesive to adhere a paper image to frame - but let it dry before continuing!
- Before applying glaze, squeeze a bit through the tip to release air bubbles from the nozzle. Don’t shake the bottle. Should bubbles occur, use a small dry paint brush, or a pin to carefully pop them.
Our Jewel Setter is a great tool to use with this kind of project. You can pick up small items with the sticky wax end, and the pointy end of the tool can be used to pop any stray bubbles.
- Be patient: Let the glaze dry thoroughly before handling your picture frames. You won’t be sorry.
