How To Open And Close A Jump Ring
Never pull a jump ring apart!
Following these steps to open and close jump rings will put the least amount of stress on your rings.
- Grasp the jump ring from the side with flat nose pliers.

- Using your fingers or another set of pliers, gently push one side of the loop away from the other.
|
|
- Your jump ring should look like this when opened. Now slip on your chain, charm or other finding.
|
|
- Your pliers can be used to close the jump ring once again.
|
