Instructions:
- Before you begin, watch the video: How to Make a Friendship Bracelet. This video will show you the technique that you will use to create this project. It will also show you how to begin and end, and how to create the sliding knot clasp.
-
Cut two 4' lengths each of size 18 Super-Lon nylon cord in the following colors: Capri Blue, White, Turquoise, Purple, and Magenta.
-
Arrange the colors in the order you want the stripes to go in, with each pair of colors together. Tie an overhand knot 5-6" from the ends.
-
Use the method demonstrated in the video to complete the knotting for your bracelet.
-
When your bracelet is as long as you'd like it to be, tie another overhand knot at the end of your work.
-
Either tie your bracelet on using a tight square knot, or follow the instructions in the video to create a sliding knot closure if you'd like the bracelet to be removable.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
