Christmas Party Bracelet

Just like your favorite Christmas sweater, this bracelet has kitsch and charm written all over it! Bead woven trees are adorned with tiny seed beads and festive flatback rhinestones, bringing the Christmas spirit out in this cuff bracelet.

Instructions:
As written, these instructions will make a finished bracelet that is about 6" long. Measure your wrist and add half an inch to figure out your desired bracelet length. Add or subtract from the number of rows you weave at the beginning and the end of the bracelet to make yours longer or shorter. Each 7 rows of weaving will add or subtract about 1/4".

Thread a size 12 beading needle with a length of white Wildfire beading thread. Use as long of a length as you are comfortable working with. You will need to add new thread several times throughout this project. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, watch this video.

Using 11/0 Miyuki Delica beads in ceylon cream, weave a piece of flat even count peyote stitch 32 beads wide. Complete 11 rows.

Then, continue to weave, following the pattern. Be sure to include the six solid cream rows before and the seven after the trees.

Repeat the pattern three times. Then weave 11 rows of cream after the last row from the pattern.

Weave your thread around to come back up through the 2nd to last bead you wove, moving in a downward direction. String 4 cream seed beads. Then string a light siam red 8mm round crystal bead. String another cream bead, and then go back down through the red crystal bead and the next cream bead. String 3 more cream beads and then go down through the next bead in the final row of peyote.

Weave through the last 2 rows of beads, skipping the next four beads in the final row of peyote, and coming out of the fifth. Attach a second crystal bead as you did the first.

Weave through, skipping the next three beads in the final row of peyote, and coming out of the fourth. Attach the third crystal bead as before.

Tie off and weave in your ends.

On the other end of the bracelet, weave in a new length of thread. Moving downward, come out of the third bead from the top in the first row of peyote. String 20 cream beads, then go back through the original bead in the same direction to create a circle.

Weave through, skipping the next five beads in the first row of peyote. Create another loop on the sixth as you did before.

Weave through, skipping the next four beads in the first row of peyote. Create a third loop on the fifth as before.

Tie off and weave in your ends.

Thread your needle with white NYMO beading thread. Weave in and come up through a green seed bead in one of the trees. String one of your silver lined 15/0 Toho seed beads in any color and bring your needle back down into the next green bead. Work through the tree, adding different colors of 15/0 beads dotted around wherever you want them until your tree looks fully "decorated". Tie off and weave in your ends.

Repeat this process with the other two trees.

Place a dab of E6000 glue on the back of a crystal AB rivoli star flatback rhinestone and press it into place at the top of one of the trees. Repeat with two more star rhinestones on the other two trees.

Place a dab of E6000 on the back of a crystal rivoli snowflake flatback rhinestone and press it into place somewhere on the background of your bracelet. Repeat with more snowflake rhinestones to decorate the background.

Allow all glue to dry thoroughly before wearing.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
