Project B130 Designer: Andrea Morici
Compliment piece to our Tough & Lovely Necklace. If you have purchased the materials necessary to
create the necklace, you only need to buy the brass knot toggle bar (FCL-4655) to make the bracelet!

Instructions:
- Begin by cutting a piece of chain that is six inches long in length. Since this is a very heavy double-link chain we are using in this project, we recommend cutting it with memory wire cutters as opposed to using flush cutters or side cutters. Also, cut only one link at a time. If you have already made the Tough & Lovely necklace, simply use the remainder of the chain from that project.
-
Open a 5mm jump ring and thread it though the small hole in the hammered brass ring charm. Close the jump ring again.
-
Open two 7.25mm jump rings. Thread one through the double link at one end of the chain, and the other through the double link at the opposite end of the chain.
-
To one of the jump rings add the brass knot toggle bar. Thread the other jump ring through the 5mm jump ring that is attached to the hammered brass ring charm. Close both jump rings once more.

Variations:
Try making this striking bracelet in silver, copper, or gun metal instead of the antiqued gold. Don't forget the matching toggle clasp!
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
|
The total length of this bracelet is almost eight inches, but due to the width of the chain this size fits a smaller wrist nicely. If you would like to lengthen the bracelet, add one or two extra 7.25mm jump rings to the toggle bar end of the bracelet.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
