Instructions:
- Use a sharp pair of scissors to cut the strand of silk ribbon into seventeen pieces of equal length (approximately two and a half inches long each). Set these aside.
-
Using your flush cutters, cut a piece of beading wire that is approximately one foot long. Secure one end of the wire with a Bead Stopper.
-
Onto the strand, thread an 8mm denim lapis bead. Directly next to that bead, tie a piece of silk around the beading wire into a double overhand knot.
-
Repeat the previous step until you have seventeen denim lapis beads with a silk knot in between each.
-
At the very end of the strand, thread five* assorted blue 8/0 seed beads. (*The overall length of the bracelet is just under eight inches. If you would like a longer or shorter finished product, add or omit seed beads during this step.)
-
Add a crimp tube to the end of the strand, but do not crimp it yet. Thread the end of the strand through the loop on the bar half of the toggle clasp, and back through the crimp tube and several consecutive beads. Pull the wire snug, leaving enough wiggle room for the clasp, and crimp the tube.
-
Remove the Bead Stopper from the other end of the bracelet and repeat the previous step using the round half of the toggle clasp. Trim excess wire from both ends of the bracelet.
-
Finally, add a fluted gunmetal crimp bead cover over each of the crimps and gently squeeze closed.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
