Instructions:
- This bracelet fits fairly snug on the wrist. To begin, measure your wrist and add however much extra room you want for the bracelet to breath on the wrist. For instance, I have a little over a 5.5" wrist and I felt I only needed an extra .25" for this to be comfortable (which does make it sort of tight). Once you have your measurement, add another 1.5". So for me, I needed to add 5.5" + .25" + 1.5" = 7.25". It is this number that you will be using below. My wrist is actually very small, so expect your number to be higher.
-
Measure your black ultra suede and cut a rectangular piece for your cuff that is the number you arrived at above (so for me, 7.25") by 1.25".
-
Thread a needle with 15" of beading thread. You do not need to tie a knot on the end. On one end of your cut piece of ultra suede, fold over the end 1/2". To keep this secured down, roughly stitch the folded ultra suede down to the main ultra suede near the edge. This does not need to be beautiful stitching since you will just be removing it later.
-
Please watch the video on How to Use the Crystal Applicator Tool and Apply Snap Fasteners. Following what you learned in the video, attach the button tops of your 2 Swarovski gun metal tone snap fasteners to your cut suede piece over the folded section. You want the crystals to be on the top of your cuff. See photo. Remove the stitched thread after you have attached both button tops.
-
Repeat the 2 previous steps on the other side of your cuff but with the snap back pieces. Make sure you double check that your snap tops and bottoms will line up properly before you attach them with the tool. I placed the cuff on my wrist to double check the orientation.
-
Thread a needle with 30" of black thread. Bead embroider a picot edge using Toho 11/0 seed beads in silver lined crystal along one edge of your cuff.
-
All done!

Variations
Enjoy making this bracelet using different colors of ultra suede and various Swarovski snap fasteners. When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Keywords: formal, wide bracelet, cuff bracelet, bead embroidery, black and white
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
