Instructions:
- Before you begin, watch the video: How to Bead Weave a Star Using Brick Stitch.

Following the instructions in the video, make a star out of the blue beads in the 11/0 Czech seed bead patriotic mix that has 25 beads in the last row of circular brick stitch. Use black Wildfire beading thread with the blue beads.

Repeat to make a star with the red beads and black Wildfire. Then make a star with the silver beads and white Wildfire.

Tie off and weave in all of your loose threads.

Arrange the stars as shown in the photo, or however you like. Use a bit of E6000 adhesive to secure them in place and allow to dry for at least an hour before continuing.

Flip your piece over. Apply some E6000 to the flat side of a silver tone bar pin back and press it onto the back side of your beaded piece. Make sure that the entire length of the pin back is flat against the beaded surface. Allow all glue to dry for at least 24 hours before wearing.

Variations
Try a different Czech seed bead mix to adapt this brooch to a different holiday or season. When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
