Instructions:
- Cut two pieces of wire at one and a half inches long each and one piece of wire at two inches long.
-
Create a simple loop at the end of each piece of wire to make them into eyepins.
-
Onto one of the shorter pieces of wire, thread a 7mm bead cap (narrow end first), a lampwork drop bead (narrow end first), and a 16mm bead cap (open end first).
-
Create another simple wire loop, and trim off excess wire.
-
Onto another one of the shorter pieces of wire, thread the 14mm filigree bead.
-
Create another simple wire loop, and trim off excess wire.
-
Using either your fingers, or a pair of chain nose pliers, gently open the "petals" of the two 7mm filigree bead wraps.
-
Trim off the loop using a sharp pair of Xuron flush cutter pliers. File any sharp edges down.
-
Gently form, with your fingers, the bead wrap around either end of the 28mm lampwork blown glass bead.
-
Onto the two inch piece of wire thread the 28mm bead, with a bead wrap on either end.
-
Create another simple wire loop, and trim off excess wire.
-
Thread a small 4mm bead onto a headpin and make a simple loop. Trim off excess wire.
-
Open the loop at the bottom of the drop bead the way you would open a jump ring.
-
Thread this through the loop one end of the 14mm brass filigree bead and close it once more.
-
Open the loop at the other end of the 14mm brass filigree bead and thread that through the loop on one end of the large 28mm glass bead. Close once more.
-
Finally, open the loop at the opposite end of the large glass bead and thread it through the loop on the tiny 4mm dangle. Close the loop again.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
