La Peregrina Brooch
Project C119 Designer: Andrea Morici
Featuring a large faux pearl cabochon set onto filigree and surrounded by two rows of Swarovski Crystal
rhinestones, this fantastic brooch looks like a million bucks, but won't break the bank to make!
Instructions:
- Evenly spread a small amount of E6000 on the back of the pearl cabochon using a toothpick or a piece of wire and press it firmly onto the center of the filigree stamping. Let it set for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.
-
Once the glue on the cabochon has set, glue a row of the larger Jet Nut Swarovski rhinestones directly next to each other and directly next to the cabochon. Let these set for a few minutes.
-
Now glue a row of the small Caribbean Blue Opal Swarovski rhinestones onto the outer edge of the filigree, one per "bump" in the scalloped edge. Allow everything on the front of the filigree to dry completely (at least a few hours) before moving on to the next step.
-
Once the items are securely glued to the face of the filigree, you must glue the pin back onto the other side. Allow to set for twenty-four hours before wearing.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
