Instructions:
First, watch the video:
-
Wash your hands thoroughly and then put on the gloves that come with your Crystal Clay.
-
Taking the skills you learned in the video, pinch off a large pea size amount of part A Crystal Clay and a same size amount of part B Crystal Clay. Roll both part A and part B into separate balls and make sure they are the same size. When happy that they are equal, squish the balls together until all striations are gone and there is no marbling left.
-
Make a heart shape form that mimics the shape of your purse hanger. Press into the bezel setting of the purse hanger. As seen in the video, carefully push the clay to the edges of the bezel. I chose to keep a mound like dome in the center of the setting and then tapered it off towards the edges. I wanted a "puffed" heart appearance. Once your clay is positioned how you want it in the setting, try to smooth out any fingerprints by LIGHTLY rubbing your finger over the surface of the clay.
-
Next, it is time to place your Swarovski chatons into the clay. Use the toothpick with beeswax on the end to pick up the chatons. Place the largest ones first. This is a random placement process, just place them however you like. Once the big ones are placed, place the smaller ones. Keep placing more crystal chatons until you are happy with how many you have.
-
When all the crystals are set, take the tip of your finger and pat the crystals down to make sure they are securely in place. Review your work and make sure you are happy with everything.
-
Let dry for 12 - 24 hours.
-
Enjoy using your new purse hanger!

Variations
For a little variations, try a round shaped purse hanger or one of the 17 different colors of Crystal Clay. There are lots of gorgeous Swarovski chaton mixes to choose from as well! Have fun!
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
