Instructions:
Note: No additional tools are required for this project but I find the Magic Pick to be helpful along with Triangle Sorting Tray. These are completely optional.
-
You will have 60 - 90 minutes work time for your Crystal Clay, so there is no need to rush, take your time and enjoy the process.
-
Before beginning, wash your hands really well. Any residual dirt, ink, or lint will come off on your clay, so clean hands are very important.
-
To make this compact, watch the video: How to Make a Crystal Clay Filigree and Swarovski Chaton Compact. This step-by-step video teaches you how to make this lovely compact.
-
After you have completed your compact, set aside in a safe area (where it won't get knocked around or dirty) and let dry for 12 - 24 hours.

Variations
There are 17 colors of Crystal Clay to choose from to decorate your compact with. In addition, there are 7 different Swarovski Crystal chaton mixes to choose from - the possibilities are endless!
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
