Enchanted Winter Ornament

This ornament looks like it should belong in a wintery wonderland with its crystal encrusted design and sparkling SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystal chatons. It's truly breathtaking!

Instructions:
You will need to supply your own ornament for this project. The ornament pictured is 3" in diameter and shatter proof (plastic not glass). This project takes several hours to complete, please allow yourself enough time.
- The entire making of this ornament is shown in the video tutorial How to Embellish an Ornament with Crystal Clay, Filigree, and Chatons. Please watch this video and refer to the photos to make the ornament.

A couple tips:

Only mix up the amount of clay needed for each section at a time. Do not mix up your entire batch of clay all at once.

Take into consideration how the ornament will hang when finished. The loop cap at the top of the ornament will not be able to be twisted or moved once clay has been put around it, so you want it and your decoration facing the same direction.

Refer to the photos often for the placement of filigrees, clay, and rhinestones. Also, just work on one section at a time, you will find it easier complete if you just focus on one area, finish it, and then go to the next section.

Once your ornament has fully cured overnight, thread your silk ribbon through the loop at the top and tie in a bow.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
