Instructions:
- Cut a 4 inch piece of Power Pro beading thread.
-
To the piece of thread, add 16 crystal metallic seed beads.
-
Thread this beaded strand through a donut and a jump ring.
-
Tie the two ends of the thread together using a surgeon's knot so that there is now a ring of beads encompassing a donut and a jump ring.
-
Add a drop of the GS Hypo cement to the knot and allow it to dry.
-
Once the glue is dry, trim off the excess thread.
-
To make the tassels cut a piece of Power Pro thread 6 inches long.
-
Fold thread in half and add 16 seed beads to the center of the doubled up strand.
-
Thread this through the donut bead and gather both sides together.
-
Add a crimp bead to all of the threads that you have gathered and crimp it.
-
Now you should have two hanging threads and one hanging loop approximately 1 1/4" long.
-
Cut the bottom of the loop so that you have four hanging threads.
-
To three of the hanging threads add an inch (approximately 21) of seed beads, followed by a copper bicone, and finally a crimp bead.
-
Cut off the fourth thread and trim the excess thread from the three beaded strands.
-
Add the earring hook to the jump ring.
-
Repeat steps to make the other earring.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
