Instructions:
- First create two (one per earring) wire-wrapped loop bails for the briolettes by doing the following twice.
- Threading the end of the wire through the hole at the top of a briolette, so that about 2 inches of wire is projecting through. I like to keep the other end of the wire uncut, even if this means you are holding a spool of wire at one end. You will waste a lot less wire if you wait til the end of your briolette wrapping to cut the wire finally off of the spool.
-
Bend the wire upwards on both sides of the briolette until they meet and cross at the top of the briolette.
-
With a pair of chain-nose pliers, put a slight bend in the long end of the wire at the exact center of the top of the briolette, so that the wire is sticking straight up.
-
Wrap the shorter side of the wire around this straight-up piece about two times. The bend you made in the previous step should ensure that this wrapping stays centered above the briolette. Trim excess wire off the short end, and tuck it down flat, if necessary, with chain nose or nylon jaw pliers. You should still have the long end of your wire sticking straight up.
-
With the long end of the wire create a wrapped loop above the briolette, forming a figure eight with the bottom loop that is through the briolette. Tighten and trim off excess wire.
-
Repeat Steps 2-6 for the second briolette.
-
Using the same method you would use to properly open a jump ring open the bottom loops of each earring hook and attach one to one of the holes on each of the filigree connector links.
-
Using a jump ring, add the briolettes to the other hole on each of the filigree connector links.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
