Instructions:
Remember to double these instructions to create your matched pair of earrings
- Watch the instructional video: How to Make a Beaded Bead Using Twin Beads. Follow the instructions to create a twin bead beaded bead using jet/dark teal pearl twin beads and .008" black wildfire thread.
-
String a 1.5", 22 gauge sterling silver head pin with a 4 mm Swarovski crystal bicone bead, then with your beaded bead, and then with another bicone bead. Use a pair of wire looping pliers to create a simple wire loop after the second bicone bead.
-
Use a pair of flush cutters to cut a 2" length of 1.4 mm sterling silver delicate cable chain.
-
Use a 3 mm, 22 gauge sterling silver jump ring to attach one end of the chain to the wire loop on your head pin. Then use a second jump ring to attach the other end of the chain to a sterling silver shepheard's crook square wire earring hook.
|
You can lengthen or shorten the piece of chain in these earrings to suit your tastes.
Variations
Use a different color of beads and different chain and findings to change the look of these earrings.
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
