Instructions:
Remember to double these instructions to create your matched pair of earrings.
The black finish on these components can be scratched somewhat easily. Use nylon jaw pliers wherever possible to avoid marking up the pieces.
- Place an 8 mm light blue chalk turquoise round bead onto a 2", 21 gauge black plated brass head pin. Use a pair of round nose pliers to create a simple wire loop after the bead.
-
Use a 6 mm, 20 gauge black finish pewter oval jump ring to hang the bead from one of the holes on a black finish pewter rectangle connector link.
-
Use a second jump ring to attach a black finish pewter stud earring dome post to the second hole on the connector link.
-
Place a gunmetal plated earring back on the back of the post.

Variations
Choose a different finish and shape for your connector links with gemstones to match and achieve a whole different look for your earrings.
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
