Instructions:
The vintage miniature record charms used in this project are quite old. Be very gentle when working with them and wearing them. Don't get them wet, as the little record labels could be damaged or come off.
- Begin by cutting two 1" lengths and two 1 1/2" lengths of 1.6 mm antique silver plated cable chain using a pair of flush cutters.
-
Use a pair of chain nose pliers to open a 4 mm, 22 gauge silver plated jump ring. Using this jump ring, hang a 23 mm vintage miniature record charm from a 1 1/2" length of chain, and close the jump ring.
-
Use the same method to hang an 18 mm vintage miniature record charm from a 1" length of chain.
-
Carefully open the loop on an antique silver plated fish hook earring hook. Hang the chains on the loop by the last link on the free end of each and close the loop on the earring hook.
-
Repeat steps 2 - 4 to create your second earring.

Variations
Use different colors of the record charms with different metal findings to change the look of these earrings.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
