Instructions:

Before you begin, watch the video: How to Bead Weave a Star Using Brick Stitch.

As demonstrated in the video, weave two stars with 25 beads in the last round of circular brick stitch, both using black Wildfire beading thread, one using the blue beads from an 11/0 Czech seed bead patriotic mix and one using the red beads.

Then, using the silver beads and white Wildfire, weave two stars with 15 beads in the last round of circular brick stitch.

With a new length of white Wildfire, stitch a small star onto each of the larger stars. Place them as shown in the photo, or wherever you like them. Bring your needle through the beads as you stitch to keep the thread hidden. Tie off and weave in your ends.

Open a silver plated 4mm, 22 gauge jump ring and bring it through the top seed bead on one of the large stars. Then place the ring on a silver plated ball post earring finding onto the jump ring and close the ring. Repeat with a second jump ring and earring finding and the other large star.

Place silver plated earring backs onto your earring posts.

Variations

Choose a different Czech seed bead mix and give these earrings a totally different look.

When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
