Instructions:

1. Use a pair of flush cutters to cut a length of silver plated drawn oval cable chain that are each 16 links (about 2", but count the links) long.


2. Take a 4mm dark sapphire crystal bicone bead and place it onto a silver plated 1", 22 gauge head pin. Make a simple wire loop after the bead. Repeat with three more dark sapphire beads, then with four sapphire beads, then with four light sapphire beads, and then with four crystal beads, for a total of 16 head pins with beads.


3. Use the simple wire loops to hang one head pin from each link in the length of chain. Hang the head pins each just to the side of the one hanging from the last link so that they hang in a spiral. Start with the dark sapphire beads, then hang the sapphire, then the light sapphire, and then the crystal beads.


4. Use a 3mm silver plated jump ring to hang the top link (on the darker end) from the ring in a silver plated ball earring post.


5. Place a silver plated earring back onto the back of the earring post.
