Indus Earrings

Project E157
Designer: Andrea Morici

Shining with gold filled components and deep-hued garnets, these earrings are fit for a Maharani.

Indus Earrings

What You'll Need

Instructions:

  1. Remember to double all of the instructions to make both earrings. Thread a 4mm faceted garnet onto three headpins, and create the beginning of a wrapped loop on two of them. Complete the wrapped loop on the third, trim off and save excess wire.

  2. Thread the two beginnings of wrapped loops through the two outer loops on the earring hook. Finish wrapping, trim off and save excess wire.

  3. Using a piece of the excess wire, create a simple loop. Thread a 2.5mm garnet onto this piece of wire and make another simple loop at the other end. Trim off excess wire.

  4. Gently open both of the loops using the same method you would use to open a jump ring.

  5. Thread one of the loops through the middle loop of the earring hook.

  6. Thread the other loop through the wrapped loop at the top of the leftover 4mm dangle.

  7. Close both loops.
