What You'll Need
|
Instructions:
- Remember to double all of the instructions in order to make both earrings. Cut two pieces of wire at three inches long each.
-
Onto one piece of wire, thread a kyanite stick bead so that it sits in the middle of the wire. Create a wrapped loop with the wire. To do this, bend both sides of the wire upward toward the top of the bead. pinch the two pieces of wire together at the center of the top of the bead. Wrap one side of the wire around the other side, about two times. Trim the excess protruding from the wrapped part. Create a loop with the other side of the wire, and wrap the excess close to the first set of wraps. Trim off excess wire.
-
On the second length of wire, create a simple wire loop, creating an eyepin. Onto that eyepin, thread a wood jasper bead and a bead cap. Create another simple wire loop and trim off excess wire.
-
Open the wire loop on both ends of the wood jasper bead, the way you would open a jump ring. Thread the loop on the bead cap end through the loop on the earring hook. Thread the loop on the bottom of the wood jasper bead through the wrapped loop on the kyanite bead. Close both loops.
