Sparkler Earrings

These earrings invoke memories of hot July fourth evening barbecues, the children waving their sparklers,
creating magical patterns of light in the air.

Instructions:
- Remember to double all of the instructions to make both earrings. Begin by cutting three lengths of the colored beading wire; the red at three and a half inches, the white at three and a quarter inches, and the blue at three inches.

Fold each piece of wire in half and pinch them so there is a kink in the center. Thread all three pieces of wire through a closed jump ring, so that the jump rings sits in the creased center.

Onto both ends of each color of wire, thread a crimp bead. Slide the crimp beads all the way up to the jump ring, and crimp the beads.

You should now have six dangling wire ends, two of each color. Onto each wire, thread a red Swarovski bicone, a white one, and a blue one.

Thread a crimp bead onto the very end of each piece of wire and crimp it. For extra security, you can add a tiny drop of glue such as E6000 to each wire end, so that the crimp bead does not slide off.

Add a crimp bead cover over each of the end crimps, and gently squeeze it shut.

Finally, slide the jump ring onto the earring hook.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
