Shadow Chandelier Earrings
Project E181 Designer: Andrea Morici
Not your typical chandelier earrings, these beauties are made from color coated stampings in turquoise
and black. When layered, they create a very cool three dimensional effect that is reversible!

Instructions:
- Remember to double all of the instructions to make both earrings. In this project, we used sterling silver findings which were oxidized using the liver of sulfur patina gel. If you choose to patina your findings, purchase the gel listed in the "what you'll need" section, follow the directions on the package, and complete the process before you assemble the earrings. You may also choose to leave the silver its original color.
-
Onto three headpins, thread a black 4mm glass druk. Onto two more headpins, thread a turquoise 4mm glass druk. Create a simple wire loop on each headpin, and trim off excess wire.
-
Sandwich a turquoise and a black stamping together. Open the loop on each of headpins, the same way you would open a jump ring.
-
Thread a black druk onto the center loop at the bottom of the stampings, and on each of the two outer loops. Thread turquoise druks onto the remaining two loops on the bottom of the stampings. Close all loops.
-
Open the earring hook, and thread it through the loop at the top of the stampings. Take the stamping off, flip it, and thread it back on if you'd like to switch colors!
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
