Dragonflies at Dusk Earring Set

Instructions:
- Begin by taking your 12mm filigree bead cap and gently curve two of the "petals" on opposite sides of each other outward using your round nose pliers. Just gently work these outward by grabbing the tip of the "petal" with the round nose pliers and rotating up and away from the interior center of the cap.

Insert a 8mm round indicolite ab Swarovski crystal bead into the bead cap, making sure to line up the hole of the bead cap with the hole of the bead. Taking your fingers, press the two "petals" of the bead cap (the ones hat you did not rotate outward in the first step) and press and mold them around the 8mm bead you have inserted.

Using your flush cutters, cut approximately 3 inches of Vintaj natural brass wire. Create a simple wire loop on one end and then thread the above bead cap/bead combo, a 8mm black diamond ab Swarovski rondelle, and a 4mm indicolite ab swarovski crystal round bead. Create a wrapped wire loop using your round nose pliers and cut off the excess wire using your flush cutters. Note, you can attach an earring wire before you finish your wrapped wire loop or you can gently attach an earring wire at this time by opening up the loop at the bottom just as you would open a jump ring and then closing it using chain nose pliers. Set aside.

Cut 2 inches of wire. Create a simple wire loop and insert into the loop a Vintaj natural brass princess dragonfly charm. Thread onto the wire a 4mm indicolite ab swarovski crystal round bead. Create a simple wire loop on the end, trim off excess wire.

Attach the two above jewelry elements by gently opening the wire loop on top of the dragonfly charm dangle and attach it to the wire loop at the bottom of 8mm round Indicolite AB Swarovski crystal bead.

Cut 2.5 inches of 2mm antique brass figure eight chain, set aside. Cut 1 inch of wire, make a simple wire loop on one end, thread a 4mm indicolite ab swarovski crystal round bead and create a simple wire loop on the other end. Make 2 of these. Connect one end of your cut chain to one of your wire loop ends and then connect the other end of your cut chain to the wire loop end on the second identical piece you made. You should now have one long piece of chain with a Swarovski crystal bead on either end connected by wire loops.

Take one end of the chain ensemble you just made above and gently open the wire loop like you would open a jump ring and attach it to the outer edge of the turned up side of your filigree bead cap piece. Do the same to the other side.

Repeat the above steps to make your second earring to complete the pair!
Tip: When using the figure eight wire, trim off the "figure eights" at each end of your cut chain so that the larger chain link is exposed when you connect it to the wire loops. You can easily trim off these figure eights by using your flush cutters, Your finished jewelry piece will look cleaner and neater having done this.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
