Instructions:
- We will be building these earrings from the bottom up. Take your matte gold shell charm chain and cut a length that is 3 links long. You will notice that your chain is made up of interconnected links with 2 - 3 shell charms on each. You want to cut the fourth link so that 3 full links remain intact. Make a simple clean cut of the fourth link with your flush cutters and open that link like a jump ring. Remove that open link and any shells on it, you will be using all these pieces later. Cut into one more link on your chain and remove the shell charms to use in the next step.
-
Cut 3 lengths of 24 gauge gold wire 2 inches long each. Make a simple wire loop and put a shell charm on the end. Thread a 4mm Swarovski round faux pearl in coral and then make a wrapped wire loop at the top. Cut off excess wire with your flush cutters. Repeat this step 2 more times so that you have a total of 3 coral sea shell dangles.
-
Find the cut open link from step one and use it like a jump ring. Put items onto the link in this order: 1 shell charm, 1 coral dangle from step 2, length of shell chain 3 links long from step 1, 2 more coral dangles, and 1 more shell. Close the link/jump ring.
-
Cut a 2 inch length of 24 gauge wire. Make a simple wire loop and insert the jewelry collection you just made above into the loop, thread onto the wire a round coral bead, and make another simple wire loop.
-
Cut a 3 inch length of 24 gauge wire. Make a simple wire loop and add the above jewelry piece to that loop, then thread your Czech Glass table cut window bead in turquoise so that the thicker end is placed on the wire first and the tapered end is towards the "top" of your earring, add another round coral bead and create a simple wire loop.
-
Open the loop at the bottom of your earring hook the same way you would open a jump ring and then insert the simple wire loop at the top of the long jewelry dangle you just made. Close the earring hook loop.
-
Repeat all the above directions to make your second earring.

If you want your earrings to be longer, simply increase the number of shell charm chain links you cut in step one. For instance instead of cutting the chain so that you have a section 3 links long, you can increase it to 5, 6, or even 8 links.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
