Instructions:
- Remember to double all these directions to make your matched set of earrings!
-
Remove the liner from your silver bottle cap. See this
-
Next, view this to flatten your bottle cap using your rubber mallet and steel bench block.
-
Cut out one of your epoxy stickers from the sheet of 25. DO NOT PEEL OFF. Leave the front and back plastic protectant sheeting on for now. Looking through the clear sticker, move it around on your collage sheet and use it as a view finder to see what each image will look like. After you have settled on an image you like and can see where you are going to place the sticker, take the front protectant sheet off. Turn the sticker over and carefully peel off the back protectant sheet which is the one protecting the adhesive side. Try not to touch the sticky side at all or put down, just hold it by the rim. Place it sticky side down onto you image of choice. Press firmly to create a strong bond.
-
Using a pair of scissors, cut around the epoxy sticker. Be careful to cut right to the edge of the sticker but do not cut the actual sticker.
-
Spread a layer of Nunn glue on the backside of the cut out image/sticker. Turn over and place into the recessed area of the bottle cap. Press into place and let dry for at least 15 minutes.
-
Find where you want the top of your bottle cap to be in orientation to your image. At this point, take your metal hole punch pliers and punch a hole on the flared rim.
-
Open the small loop at the base of your ear wire, the same way you would open a jump ring. Thread it through the hole you just punched in the last step and close the loop back up.
-
Have fun with your new earrings!

This project provides enough supplies to make 12 pairs of earrings! All you need to do is provide a few extra images which you can find in magazines, old photos, or even wrapping paper.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
