Through the Keyhole Earrings
Project E644 Designer: Julie Bean
There is something mysterious about a keyhole, like there are secrets just out of reach but which can be
glimpsed by peering through the distinctive slot. Hanging below the keyhole is a fancy key and above it is
an ornate ear hook.

Instructions:
Remember to double these directions to make your matched pair of earrings.
- Begin by opening a jump ring. Onto that jump ring, slide the loop at the top of your key charm and also connect the jump ring through the hole at the base of your keyhole charm. Close the jump ring.
-
Open the loop at the base of your earring hook the same way you would open a jump ring. Link onto that open loop your keyhole charm (which now has the key attached) via the hole at the top of the charm. Close the loop back up.
-
All done! Enjoy your new pair of earrings.

Variations
If you would like to capture this same look but change it up just a bit, try mixing your metals and using different keys and keyholes.
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
