Autumn Bloom Earrings

When I think of Autumn, I think of the brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows of mums, sunflowers, and fallen
leaves. These earrings capture the Autumn spirit with a Vintaj sunflower charm which has been wire
wrapped with ruby red Toho beads.

Remember to double these instructions to make your matched set of earrings.
- Take your Vintaj relief block and use it to of your Vintaj sunflower charm.

Next, please watch this video on

Cut 2 lengths of 26 gauge brass wire, 12 inches long each. Following what you learned in the video, wire wrap ruby red Toho seed beads, size 11/0, around both sides of the charm. Begin up near the top of the flower, make 3 tight wraps (without beads) then add a bead, make a full wrap around without beads, then add another bead, etc, etc. When you get to the base of the flower, make another 2 tight winds without beads and cut off excess wire with flush cutters. Go back and cut off excess wire at the top of the flower so that your wrapping is neat. Wrap the other half of the charm the same way. If need be, take your chain nose pliers to press any rough wire edges down into the wrappings.

Open the loop at the base of your brass earring hook the same way you would . Insert the loop at the your charm into the open earring hook loop. Close the loop back up.

Variations
Changing the color of your Toho seed beads is an easy variation and gives you a wide range of color options. Here are a few suggestions:
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
