Like a brilliant star in the midnight sky, these earrings radiate brilliance and light. The center is beautiful
jet black Swarovski crystal bead and it is surrounded by rows of sparkling silver lined seed beads.

Remember to double the instructions below to make your matched pair of earrings.
- Thread 3 feet of wildfire beading thread onto a size 10 needle. Now please view the video: How to do Circular Brick Stitch Bead Weaving Around a Bead.

Following what you learned in the video, do circular brick stitch bead weaving around a 12mm Swarovski crystal round bead in jet black. Create the first two rows in Czech glass seed beads size 8/0 silver lined black diamond. Now Create 2 rows in Toho seed beads size 11/0 silver lined crystal.

Next, please watch the video: How to Add a Decorative Beaded Edge to Bead Weaving. Following what you learned in the video, add a decorative edge to the above beaded round. Make the edge so that for each "picot" you string 1 Toho 11/0 seed bead in silver lined crystal, 1 Czech 8/0 seed bead silver lined black diamond, and then another Toho. Bead all the way around your outer edge until you end up back where you started. Tie off your thread.

Pick up one of your black finish niobium unfinished ear hooks and place onto the post: 1 Toho seed bead size 11/0 silver lined crystal and 1 Czech glass seed bead size 8/0 silver lined black diamond. Create a simple wire loop after the last bead to complete the earring hook. Make sure this loop is facing side to side when you hold the earring hook in front of you (see photo). If there is any extra wire that needs to be cut off, do so at this time.

Open the simple wire loop you just made (the same way you would open a jump ring) and thread it through one of the size 8/0 black diamond seed beads along the outer edge of your beaded focal. Close the loop back up.

Variations
Experiment with different colored seed beads and center beads for a completely different feel to this design.
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
