Instructions:
Remember to double these instructions to make your matched pair of earrings.
- Cut your chain into a length of 3 chain links - a large one in the middle and a small one on each side. Do not cut the actual chain links you will be beading but the ones to each side. If you make a nice clean cut with your wire cutters, you can use these chain link as large jump rings for a future project.
-
Please watch the video, How to Bead Weave a Circular Brick Stitch Around a Ring. Thread a needle with 24" of Wildfire beading thread, and following what you learned in the video, circular brick stitch a single row of Toho seed beads size 11/0 silver lined crystal around one of the smaller rings. Tie off your thread.
-
Skip over and do not bead anything on the large ring.
-
Next, thread your needle with 48" of Wildfire beading thread, and then on the other small size ring, circular brick stitch 2 rows of Czech seed beads size 8/0 silver lined black diamond, 1 row of Toho seed beads size 11/0 silver lined crystal, another row of size 8/0 black diamond, and a final row of size 11/0 silver lined crystal. Tie off your thread.
-
Open the loop at the base of your Vintaj brass round loop ear wire the same way you open a jump ring. Slide the loop over the beadwork on the ring where you only beaded a single row. Close the loop back up.
-
Have fun wearing these earrings!
