Instructions:
Remember to double these instructions to make your matched pair of earrings.
- When you get your chain, most likely one of the ends will be cut so that the little loop is no longer intact. Go ahead and cut this gemstone link off, making sure that you do not harm the loop on the next link. Count 6 gemstone links, and on the 7th, cut that loop. You want 6 links with both end loops completely intact. So now that 7th link has a no longer intact loop, cut it off, as well the 8th link and 9th link. Cut the gemstones out of the cut off links so that they now become amethyst gemstone beads. You should have 4 of them. Set aside.
-
Open a 3mm jump ring and connect it to the end loop of your 6 gemstone-links-long chain as well as the first loop on your gold vermeil sleek drop chandelier earring finding. Close the jump ring.
-
Open and link a jump ring to the last loop on your cut piece of gemstone chain as well as the last loop on your earrings finding. Close the jump ring.
-
Onto a 1.5" gold filled head pin, place 1 2.5mm gold filled round bead, 1 of your amethyst gemstone beads from the first step, and another gold filled round bead. Start to make a wrapped wire loop, but before completing the wrappings, link it onto the 2nd loop on your chandelier drop earring finding. Finish your wrappings. Cut off excess wire with flush cutters. Repeat this step with another 1.5" head pin and attach your beaded dangle to the 4th loop on your earring finding.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
