Instructions:
Please note you will also need a soft paint brush for this project.
Don't forget to double these instructions to make your matched pair of earrings.
- To begin this project and see how to make the focal bead, please watch the video How to Make a Bead Using Crystal Clay and Bead Caps. From what you learned in this video, make yourself a bead using Crystal Clay, Sparkle Dust Mica Powder, and 2 bead end caps. When finished, let the bead cure overnight.
-
Place onto a ball head pin 1 SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS 4mm faux pearl in antique brass followed by your handmade bead from above. Using wire looping pliers, create a wrapped wire loop after your bead. Snip off excess wire with flush cutters.
-
Open the loop at the base of your earring hook (the same way you would open a jump ring) and link it to your wrapped wire loop. Close the loop back up.
-
Enjoy these pretty new earrings!

Variations
Try using different bead caps or different colors of Crystal Clay for this project. Note: the size of the bead cap will affect the overall size and appearance of the bead. When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Keywords: handmade beads, crystal clay bead
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
