Enchanted Evening Hair Clip

Instructions:
Please make sure to work in a well ventilated room when using E6000 glue. You will also need a scrap piece of wire or a toothpick to use as an applicator for the glue.
- Begin by gently bending your flat filigree to match the slightly curved shape of the hair barrette.

Turn the filigree over and using a toothpick or piece of wire as an applicator, place E6000 glue on all parts of the filigree which will make contact with the metal of the hair barrette. Turn over and press into place.

At this point I would recommend letting your glue dry for about an hour so that the filigree does not move around on you, however, if you are comfortable with it's current stability, you can move onto the next step.

Place some E6000 onto the backside of one of your large ss48 Swarovski crystal flat back rhinestones. Flip over and press into the middle of the teardrop openwork hole of your filigree which lies directly over the barrette bar. Press into place. Repeat this step with another ss48 rhinestone on the other side of the filigree, again, over the barrette bar.

Now take a dab of E6000 and place it next to each of the large rhinestones you just placed, right onto the exposed barrette bar besides them (going in the direction of the edge). Into these dabs of glue, place 1 ss34 Swarovski crystal flat back rhinestone.

Looking at your filigree piece, you will see that you have two large teardrop shape open work holes which have no rhinestones in them and run in the opposite direction of the ones sitting ontop of the barrette bar. At the very peak of each of these, up near the outer edge of the filigree, place a dab of E6000. Into these dabs of glue, place 1 ss34 flat back rhinestone into each.

For all your remaining rhinestones, including the smallest size ss12 Swarovski crystal flat back rhinestones in black diamond AB, place them where ever you like on the filigree. So place some glue, then stick a rhinestone into the glue, place more glue, another rhinestone, etc. One thing I chose to do was place rhinestones over any portion of the exposed barrette bar. You can do this too if you like. Have fun with this step and let your creativity flow.

Once you have placed all your rhinestones, let the E6000 glue fully dry before wearing - at least 24 hours.

Variations
Bedeck this lovely filigree with all different colors of Swarovski flat back rhinestones!
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
