Following what you learned in the video, pinch off approximately a large pea size amount of both parts A and B of Sage colored Crystal Clay. Mix the two together, and when they are fully blended, pinch off an eraser head size amount and set aside. Now roll the remaining amount into a long tube like shape, just slightly shorter then your silver plated filigree.

Using your fingers, pinch the middle of your clay shape so it narrows in the middle and pinch the ends to points as well. You are wanting to mimic the shape of the filigree.

Once you are happy with your shape. press it against the backside of your filigree so that some of the clay seeps out the open-holework in the front side. If any of the clay seeps over the outside edges, then carefully use your fingers to push it back so the only clay you see from the front is through the filigree work.

Take your barrette and press the flat top side of the barrette into the clay on the backside of your filigree. Make sure it is centered. When you flip your barrette over so that you are facing the front again, you will notice that a very small amount of the barrette shows on each end. To conceal this, take the eraser size amount of clay you pinched off earlier, divide it in two. and roll each into a small ball. Press a ball over the exposed barrette on each side of your filigree.

Time to add crystals!

Look at the photo for where I placed my crystals and which ones I chose from the Swarovski Elements crystal chatons assorted green mix. I used a total of 15 but you can use as many as you like and place them where ever you want. To better anchor the two added pieces of clay along the sides, I did press crystal chatons into them, I felt it helped structurally so you might want to do this as well. Have fun and let your creativity flow.

When finished, let your clay cure overnight.

Tip: If you ever find that you mix too little clay for your project, just mix up the amount you feel you need to complete your project and then add it to your existing clay. Do this though within the first 10 minutes of your original mixing so that the two will blend together properly.
Variations
Choose a different filigree, different color of clay, and other assorted crystal chatons to make a wide variety of pretty hair accessories.
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
