What You'll Need
Specialized Tools

Instructions:
- Place a black finish pewter scroll heart bead onto a 1.5", 21 gauge gun metal head pin and create a simple wire loop.
-
Cut a 2' length of bottle green 1mm waxed cotton cord. String the heart charm onto the center of the cord, then thread both ends back up through the bottom of a Green Girl Studios jumping pony focal bead. Pull the cord almost all the way up, leaving just a bit below the pony where the heart is hanging.
-
Make an overhand knot about 1/2" from each end of the cord. Cut another piece of cord 1' long. Use the new piece of cord to create a sliding knot clasp as demonstrated in this video. Place a dab of E6000 glue into the final knot as shown, and trim the ends of the knotted cord after the glue has dried.

Variations
Choose your favorite Green Girl Studios animal bead, and a pretty charm to match, to create a different necklace. When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
