Instructions:
- To begin with, you must unravel the silk cord, slightly dampen it, and hang it somewhere to dry overnight. We suggest hanging something heavy from the bottom so that all of the kinks will come out.
-
Once the silk cord is dry, cut it into three pieces of equal length.
-
To make the gold nugget segments, tie a simple knot in the silk chord, add three gold nugget beads, and make another simple knot as close to the beads as possible.
-
Create these segments at random spots on all three pieces of silk cord. The more random the spacing, the better. It will create a nice geometric draping effect when all three cords are put together.
-
Gather up all three cords and make sure they are all the same length. Trim them if the aren't.
-
Dab a tiny amount of E6000 on one end of all three cords, and insert them into one of the crimp bead cord ends. Crimp the cord end using a pair of super fine chain nose pliers.
-
Repeat this last step on the other end of the necklace. Set aside to dry for twenty-four hours.
-
Using the 4mm gold filled jump rings add the loop part of the toggle clasp to one end of the necklace, and the bar part of the toggle clasp to the other end.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
