Instructions:
- To make the pendant, insert a headpin into one of the holes in the 25mm wood jasper open circle focal bead, starting form the inside, poking outward.
-
Cut a length of the gunmetal rolo chain thirty-seven links (three and five-eigths inches) long. Thread the last link at one end of the chain onto the headpin protruding from the wood jasper open circle focal bead.
-
Pulling the chain taut all the way around the outside of the wood jasper circle and thread the last link around the same headpin that the first link is on.
-
Cut a length of 26 gauge gold Artistic Wire at about three feet long. Wrap the very end of this wire about two or three times around the headpin, just underneath the chain.
-
Bring the wire down through the center of the wood jasper circle, and back up through the nearest perpendicular link of the chain. Bring the wire back through the wood jasper circle going in the same direction, and back up through the next perpendicular chain link, skipping the parallel link between the two.
-
Continue in this manner, weaving the chain onto the wood jasper circle and back through every other chain link all the way around until you get back to the headpin.
-
Wrap the wire around the headpin underneath the chain a couple of times, and trim off excess wire.
-
Cut another length of wire about three feet long and wrap the very end of it around the headpin above the chain a few times.
-
Weave the wire through the nearest perpendicular chain link, add a 4.5mm lapis blue candy jade bead and, going the same direction, thread the wire through the next perpendicular chain link.
-
Continue in this manner, adding a blue jade bead, and weaving through the next chain link in the sequence. Go all the way around the outside of the chain until you get to the headpin once more.
-
Wrap your wire around the headpin again, just a couple of times, and trim off excess wire.
-
Create a wrapped loop on the headpin, just above where your wire stops. Trim off excess headpin wire. Set your pendant aside.
-
Thread two headpins with a 4mm round red coral fire polish bead, topped with a 4mm gold plated bead cap each. Create a wrapped loop on each and trim off excess wire.
-
Thread another headpin with a 4mm tan wood jasper, topped with a 4mm gold plated bead cap. Create a wrapped loop and trim off excess wire.
-
Thread yet another headpin with a 4mm lapis blue candy jade bead, topped with a 4mm gold plated bead cap. Create a wrapped loop and trim off excess wire.
-
Open an 8mm jump ring thread it through three of the drops that you just created; one blue candy jade, one wood jasper, and one red fire polish. Keep the remaining red fire polish drop on hand.
-
Fold the remainder of your gunmetal rolo chain in half to find the center. Thread the jump ring containing the three bead drops through one of the links of chain about an inch away from center. Close the jump ring again.
-
Open three more 8mm jump rings and thread all three of them through the loop at the top of your pendant, and also through the loop on the nautical star charm. Close all three jump rings.
-
Thread the jump rings onto your chain.
-
Open one of the jump rings again, and to it add the remaining red fire polish bead drop. Close the jump ring again.
-
Using two more 8mm jump rings, add one half of the toggle clasp to one end of your chain, and the other half of the toggle to the other end of your chain.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
