Instructions:
- Begin by turning all of the porcelain beads, and all but one of the Swarovski pearls into "links". Do this by cutting twenty four lengths of twenty gauge copper wire at two inches long each, four pieces of wire at three inches long each, and one piece of wire at four inches long.
-
Create a simple loop at one end of each piece of wire.
-
Slide each individual bead onto each piece of wire, the pearls on the two-inch segments, the four smaller porcelain beads onto the three inch segments, and the large focal porcelain bead onto the four inch segment.
-
Create another simple loop at the other end of each piece of wire, close to the bead. Trim off all excess wire.
-
To join these links, open the loop at one end of each bead the way you would open a jump ring, thread it through the loop at one end of the next bead link in the sequence, and close it once more. The sequence for the right side of the necklace is as follows, from the top (where the clasp is added) to the bottom (where the pendant is added):
- nine Swarovski pearls, the 18mm x 24mm spiral conch shell rectangle porcelain bead (BWC-125)
- one Swarovski pearl
- the 24mm x 32mm ocean conch shell oval porcelain bead (BWC-150)
- and two more Swarovski pearls.
The sequence for the left side of the necklace is as follows:
- nine Swarovski pearls
- the 18mm x 24mm small conch shell rectangle porcelain bead (BWC-124)
- one Swarovski pearl
- the 24mm x 32mm seahorse oval porcelain bead (BWC-149)
- and two more Swarovski pearls.
-
Open the very last wire loop on the two sides of the necklace and thread them both through the wire loop at the top of the large porcelain focal bead with the orange scallop shell on it (BWC-135). Close both loops again.
-
Create a chain by linking together eleven 6mm jump rings. Add this chain to the bottom wire loop on the focal bead.
-
Add all of your charms to this jump ring chain, spacing them out evenly and alternating metal colors.
-
Thread a Swarovski pearl onto a headpin and create a wrapped wire loop. Add this pearl charm to your jump ring chain along with the other charms.
-
Open the wire loop at each end of the necklace. To one end, add the "loop" part of the toggle clasp. To the other end, add the "bar" part of the toggle clasp. Close both wire loops.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
