Instructions:
- To create the sense of movement in this necklace, you must gently (with emphasis on the word "gently"!) bend each of the butterflies, each one to a greater degree than the last. to bend them, line the center up with a sharp edge of a table. Gently press one wing down until it reaches the desired angle, turn the butterfly so that the other wing protrudes off of the edge of the table and repeat. Bend each butterfly a little more than the last to create the desired effect. The bottom butterfly, the dark blue one, remains flat.
-
The order of color should be as follows, from bottom butterfly to top:
- dark blue
- light blue
- green
- yellow
- orange
- red.
-
Stack all of your butterflies in this order. Open your jump ring and thread it through all of the butterfly loops. Close jump ring again.
-
Thread your chain through the jump ring and your necklace is ready to wear.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
