Project N199 Designer: Andrea Morici
Join us in Tucson this February to learn how to make this fabulous lariat-style necklace! Adding to the

Instructions:
- Begin by using your flush cutters (XTL-5600) to cut a piece of twenty four gauge black artistic craft wire at five inches long.
-
Create a wrapped wire loop at one end of the wire.
-
Onto the wire, thread one 4mm bordeaux Swarovski faux pearl.
-
Create the beginning of a large wrapped loop (about 6mm in diameter). Before you complete the wrapping, thread the Swarovski Jet Cosmic Circle onto the loop. Once you have done so, finish wrapping the wire until it meets back up with the 4mm faux pearl. Trim off excess wire.
-
Cut a piece of fine Soft Flex at about seven inches long. Onto one end of the Soft Flex thread a gunmetal crimp bead, but do not crimp it yet. Thread the end of the Soft Flex though the empty wrapped wire loop next to the 4mm faux pearl and back through the crimp bead. Pull the Soft Flex snug and crimp the gunmetal crimp bead.
-
Onto the Soft Flex thread approximately four inches of alternating Swarovski 4mm bordeaux faux pearls, Swarovski 5mm jet roundel spacer beads, and Swarovski 4mm red magma round beads.
-
On the end of the strand, thread a gunmetal crimp bead, but do not crimp it yet. Thread the end of the Soft Flex though the last link at one end of the two foot long piece of gunmetal chain and back through the crimp bead. Pull the Soft Flex snug and crimp the gunmetal crimp bead. Trim off excess beading wire from both ends of the strand.
-
Feed the end of the gunmetal chain through the jet Swarovski Cosmic Circle.
-
Cut two small pieces of the black finish cable chain, each eleven links in length. Set these aside.
-
Cut another piece of twenty four gauge black artistic craft wire at five inches long. Make the beginning of a wrapped wire loop at one end of the wire, but before completing the wrapping, thread the wire through the last link in the two foot long piece of gunmetal chain.
-
Thread the black artistic wire through the last link of each of the two small pieces of black finish chain. Now thread it through the hole in the Swarovski crystal Wild Heart pendant. Finally, thread it through the opposite end of each of the two small pieces of black finish chain, so that the small chain drapes on either side of the heart pendant.
-
Bring the wire back up to where it is connected to the end of the two foot long piece of gunmetal chain, and wrap it around itself several times. Trim off all excess wire.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
