Instructions:
- Begin by preparing your pendant. Using a toothpick or a scrap piece of wire, spread a tiny amount of E6000 adhesive on the back of the Vintaj arte metal black filigree pendant.
-
Center the filigree on the round honey jade pendant, with one of the openings in the filigree (between two of the scallops around the edge, as show in the photo) lined up with the hole of the honey jade pendant.
-
Press the filigree firmly against the jade pendant to form a tight bond.
-
Now spread a small amount of E6000 onto the back of a pacific blue opal Swarovski rhinestone and press it firmly on the center of the filigree. Set the entire pendant aside to dry for at least five hours before commencing.
-
When your pendant has dried fully, you may now make the bail. Use your flush cutters to cut two lengths of wire that are approximately four inches long each.
-
Thread both pieces of wire through the hole in the pendant so that one third of it is protruding from the back. Bend both ends of both pieces of wire upward toward the top of the pendant.
-
Wrap the shorter portion of both wires several times tightly around the two longer lengths. Create a wrapped wire loop perpendicular to the pendant with the two longer lengths, and wrap downward until the wraps from the loop meet up with the wraps from the top of the pendant. Trim off excess wire, and set your pendant aside.
-
Use your flush cutters to cut a length of Soft Touch beading wire that is about two feet long. Secure one end of your wire with a Bead Stopper.
-
Onto your wire, thread the following:
- three black heishe spacers
- two and one quarter inches of alternating 4mm honey jade beads and 3mm black hexagon rondelles
- a black heishe spacer
- a 10mm black finish flower "joy" bead cap

-
From the pendant on, string the remainder of the the necklace as a mirror image of the first half.
-
When you have reached the end of your strand, thread on a black oxidized crimp tube, but do not crimp it yet. Thread the end of your beading wire through the loop on one half of your toggle clasp and back through the crimp tube and several consecutive beads. Pull the wire snug, leaving room for the toggle clasp to move freely.
-
Remove the Bead Stopper from the opposite end of the necklace and repeat the previous step on that end.
-
Trim off excess beading wire and you are done!
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
